Brain Storm - Parts of the Brain
Use this 'BRAINstorm' to help students learn about each component of the brain. Included are: motor cortex, occipital lobe, auditory cortex, cerebrum, cerebellum, temporal lobe, hippocampus, and amygdala. Students will think of an example of something in their life when they have used each part. They will write a sentence and draw a sketch. This is a great jumping off point to writing informational text or personal narratives.

Apology Letter for Middle School
Students have to complete the Apology Letter to satisfy behavior issues. This letter is perfect for allowing the student to reflect on how their behavior negatively affects other people. This letter also forces the student to come to grips with how they can correct their behavior.The student, parent, and teacher must sign the letter.This letter is a powerful method for middle school students to engage in and communicate the lessons they have learned.
