I have a created a song about our three branches of government to help students memorize them. The song is to the tune of Row, Row, Row Your Boat, so it's easy for the kids to sing and memorize. I have also included a recording in the file that you can listen to in case you need help putting the words to the tune. I have included a color version and a black and white version. It teaches students about the three levels of government (local government, state government, and national government). I teach in South Carolina, so the lyrics are specifically geared towards SC, however, they can be adapted to fit any state.
