I use to reinforce and reteach what I have taught. No vocals at this time. I use smilies whenever possible because all my students identify with them as they have no characteristics that denote race.

Looking for simple, yet engaging activities for the Middle School Math classroom? This particular activity is a song that talks about the steps for adding negative numbers. It's a wonderful way to help students memorize the steps and it's really fun! This can used at many grade levels, but is geared toward 6th and 7th grade when they are learning about integers. It only take a few minutes to teach the song, but for best results, should be revisited often. There are lots of ideas included fo

This is the audio recording that accompanies the Taped Problems worksheet. This recording is about 3 and 1/2 minutes long and allows students a stress free way to improve multiplication fact automaticity. Since this is an mp3 file it can be uploaded to individual tables, phones, players etc. so students can perform this intervention at home or on the road. Students love this intervention and it drastically improves their ability. The recording is matched with the taped problems worksheet.

This song is a catchy way to remember the Pythagorean Theorem and the criteria for what makes a right triangle. Also mentioned are some sample measurements of a right triangle, and the important terminology surrounding right triangles (leg, hypotenuse, square root, etc). The song uses popular tunes and math-oriented lyrics, and would be useful as an introduction or review tool during a lesson on the Pythagorean Theorem and right triangles. I also have the lyrics to this song available as a PD

These are probably the most exciting multiplication songs available for purchase. Upon first listen, your students probably won't know if they should dance or recite the multiplication facts. There are two multiplication songs. One is tables 2 - 7 and the other is 8 - 12. There is a version with answers and one without answers for each. There is also a song for the divisibility rules. The Intro and Outro are motivational songs written in the spirit of hip hop culture.
