Schoolhouse Rock Fill-In the blank
I have typed up the lyrics to 3 of the history songs (No More Kings, Shot Heard Round the World and the Preamble) but have removed certain words. My students watch the video once and then fill in the lyrics as we listen a second (and sometimes third) time to the song. I wanted a way for them to interact with the video and get the songs stuck in their heads! Three Branches of Government Song
I have a created a song about our three branches of government to help students memorize them. The song is to the tune of Row, Row, Row Your Boat, so it's easy for the kids to sing and memorize.
I have also included a recording in the file that you can listen to in case you need help putting the words to the tune.
I have included a color version and a black and white version.
