Exponential Functions and Grain of Rice Project
This is a differentiated activity incorporating exponential functions and "The Grain of Rice Story." As a class, the story is read in play form. Students are assigned parts to read. Inverse Functions
Freyor Model graphic organizer were students create their own equation and find and graph the inverse of it. I allowed my students to Google the definition to copy. I made lines on each section so that students could write a sentence on what they noticed about the original equation, table, and graph and the inverse.

This resource includes all of the primary vocabulary for trigonometry along with pictures to use as a word wall in your classroom. I have always enjoyed this holiday mathematical take on "HO HO HO" for the holidays! Without a doubt, it is a great boost for the holiday spirit and for creating a positive mathematical environment for our students. I once showed it to my department chair who immediately corrected me saying that I should put parentheses around the "HO" to be "mathematically correct". He was absolutely correct, so please note, the parentheses are included....:)
