Plants: Lesson 8: Pollination & Angiosperm Reproduction
Students explore pollination and angiosperm reproduction by looking at real flowers, playing online games, reading stories, drawing and more. As a brain break, students also have a run-around scavenger hunt to review previous plant information.
This lesson may take 2-3 class periods, depending on how long your class periods are. I did this in 2 90 minute periods. That being said, there are additional relevant do-nows, hooks etc. included at the end so you can rearrange each day as you like.

This Smartboard presentation can be used to supplement and guide a fantasy book club unit in reading. SMARTboard interactive lesson on author's point of view and fact vs. opinion
This SMARTboard lesson covers a few reading comprehension skills: identifying author's point of view, fact vs. opinion, and evaluating an author's argument. Some slides can be used as notes for the students. Other slides are more interactive. Students have to determine if statements are facts or opinions.
