This is a front and back page and lays out step by step how students can create their own atlas. I used this to have them create an atlas of the state of Indiana but it could be used for any state. This sheet includes great project requirements that demonstrate excellent understanding of their state through maps and state info. New World Explorers: Report and Contract of Choice Activities
This is a contract of 20 choices to along with a brief written report assignment for our European Explorers unit in US History.
The students must complete a report with note cards & a bibliography for 65 points (or a "D"). To earn a better grade, they choose alternate activities within various learning modalities to improve their points.
