Gifted Project for 2nd Grade
This is a choice board for 2nd grade gifted students. They will be creating their own country and comparing it to the US.

Gifted Gripes
These are printables for your classroom walls/bulletin boards describing common "gripes" of gifted students. I like to print them on colorful card stock and laminate them. I have also used these as centers where students rotate and write down which gripes resonate with them and have a mini-group discussion at each table about the specific gripes.

Advertising project with flyer and commercial
Students will create a unique product in groups of 3. They will be responsible for creating a flyer (in Photoshop or Canva.com) and a commercial (IMovie or any other video recording device/software) to advertise their product. Included is a rubric for the flyer and commercial with added instructions for what is needed/expected in the commercial. Can be used in a Marketing, Advertising, Photoshop/Graphic Design class or even in a Gifted and Talented setting.

Sociogram Assignment -
Students create a sociogram of characters in "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller, demonstrating relationships in the first two acts of the play. This assignment could also be redone at the end of the play as an assessment. After completing this activity, I found that students developed a deeper understanding of the complex relationships in the play and were better prepared to follow the town's dynamic throughout our reading.
