This template is a space to write out all the information you need when you are writing a song (but don't want to use sheet music). Essentially, students are able to create a lead sheet and analyze the meter & rhyme scheme. I always encourage my students to write as much info as they possibly can, because they might need to stop and come back to it later. The more information that you have, the better you can remember your original idea/ intent. I use this in my Singer Songwriter class.
