Being a Good Citizen at Home, at School, and in the Community
You can use these cards in many ways.
1. Print these cards, cut them out, and use them as a visual introduction to citizenship.
• Show the students these cards and ask them if the children shown are being good citizens or if they are following rules at home, school, or in the community.
• Use these cards as discussion starters. Show a particular card and ask the students what they should do if someone else is not being a good citizen.
2. Print these cards, cut them out, and laminate them.

Behavior Reflection Sheet
We use this in our first grade class to help students understand the consequences of their actions. They "Stop and Reflect" in order to make a better choice the next time.
*I have recently updated the document to include a middle grade version for 3-5 with more grade appropriate wording and formatting!
After it is completed, fold in half to keep private. The student signs it, the teacher signs it, then it goes home for the parent to sign.

Family Tree and History - Culture Activity.
One of my favorite and most worthwhile activities!
Wonderful document for recording family facts and memories. This is a culture assignment that will be treasured for who knows how long. I hand out as extra credit, but I strongly encourage their use... where else will this information ever be captured? Students just ask questions of parents and grandparents. Even better, have them video the conversation.

STUDENT MOVING LEAVING MEMORY BOOK Gift KEEPSAKE
I made this when I had a student leave mid-year as a way for the students to say good-bye and for the student leaving to have a memorable keepsake from his classmates.

On the first day of high school I have my 9th graders fill out a survey about themselves (favorites, etc.) and write a letter to their "Senior-Self" to receive at graduation. This is such a rewarding activity that has been such a joy each year!!!
