I made this rubric to assess general social skills in the elementary grades. There are 6 categories: sharing, personal space, taking turns, play, expressing emotions, and working together. The categories are scored as a 3, 2, or 1 with different descriptions of each level within each category. You could use this rubric for parent-teacher conferences, to send home with report cards, for data on social skills at different points in the year, or to show growth or lack of growth in these areas.

School Bus Behavior Bundle
An elementary aged social story and a corresponding behavior chart to help students keep track of behavior to and from school each day on the school bus. I used this for two of my students to turn their behavior around! They take ownership for their behavior and it is used as a positive, they want to earn 3 SMILEYS!!! :) There is a page for girls and a page for boys.
At the end of the day, they pick a marker and we talk about if they followed directions, listened, and kept their hands to themselves. They get to color in either the smiley, straight or sad! They love this and it has really worked for these students.
