TEACHING EXPERIENCE

For over twenty years I have had the joy of teaching to a myriad of children. No two days are ever the same with this amazing job! It can never, ever be described as boring. The children who have been my students have enriched my life with their natural curiosity. I currently teach fourth grade in an IB World school in Italy and have taught internationally, primarily with 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades, in Scotland, the USA, the Middle East, France and now Italy.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Hands on, transdisciplinary, inquiry based learning is my ideal way to present new concepts and reinforce strategies and skills. Fostering a community of trust within my classroom, allows everyone to realise their potential without feeling afraid of failure and leads to greater student-led inquiry.
