Ancient India- National Geographic Cover Project
Students will create a cover for an issue of National Geographic using words and pictures that highlight a topic from Ancient India (list of topics included). The cover must include all parts included in the rubric. Students will conduct research on a topic selected. The cover page must be formatted consistent with a National Geographic cover. Asia's Geography: Real Estate Advertisement Rubric
Students are challenged to create their own Real Estate Advertisement concerning either China or India. Included is a PowerPoint Presentation in which good Real Estate Advertisements are compared to poor ones. This provides guidance prior to assigning the rubric. The rubric takes students through requirements in the projects concerning: physical features, pollution, population density, transportation, etc.This assignment can be done in class and takes approximately 3 days.
