I made this rubric to assess general social skills in the elementary grades. There are 6 categories: sharing, personal space, taking turns, play, expressing emotions, and working together. The categories are scored as a 3, 2, or 1 with different descriptions of each level within each category. You could use this rubric for parent-teacher conferences, to send home with report cards, for data on social skills at different points in the year, or to show growth or lack of growth in these areas.
