Ten Digits Challenge is a fun activity in which three given digits are combined to create all ten digits, 0 through 9. For example, for the three digits 1, 2, 3: 1 + 2 + 3 = 6 and (2 x 3) + 1 = 7. For ages 12 and up.
Solving the problems involves trying many combinations of operations and orders of numbers. This activity leads students into playing with numbers and discovering “tricks” and patterns fundamental to mathematics.
