I am a bilingual speech-language pathologist working in the public schools in the Chicago suburbs. My caseload consists mainly of Spanish-speaking ELL students from grades Pre-K through 6th grade. While it certainly has its challenges, I absolutely love my job!
I'm very reflective in my teaching style and am constantly evaluating and re-evaluating the materials, techniques, and supports I use for each one of my students. When one idea doesn't work, I find something else that will.
