This document is working with number bonds. You use each square to have counters to show concrete numbers and show how many different ways to show that number, or addition sentences for that number. I put this document in a sheet protector so my students can write on them with a dry erase marker; or you could laminate them. This way you can use them over and over. It is a good way to show concrete numbers and addition.
