Most Dangerous Way to School- Bolivia
I developed this resource for my own emergency sub plans. It fits well with both Spanish and Social Studies. Students will watch a 48 minute video that chronicles two different sets of children and the lengths they go to get to school, while they fill out a worksheet about the video. This lesson is intended for students 3rd grade through 8th grade. It is based on the Mexican Albrije Animal Sculptures. In this project, students will be preplanning ( I suggest in a sketchbook). They will be printing using foam plates and ink. They will be drawing using pencils, tempera sticks, and oil pastels and finally collaging their work together in a finished product.
